Our Mission
Planning Ahead advances climate resilience through community-centered education, disaster preparedness, and adaptation planning. We center lived experience and community knowledge in everything we do—from training design to adaptation planning.
Core Purpose
We help communities impacted by extreme weather move from crisis to readiness by providing disaster relief training focused on extreme heat and flood preparedness, developing practical, equity-centered curricula, and serving as Adaptation Practitioners, supporting organizations and communities in climate adaptation planning.
